Margaret (Davis) and James WADDEN/WADDING’s fourth daughter Margaret Mary (b. 15 June 1891) married Robert ROCHE, a sailor in a lightship, in Wexford in 1919.
She was known as Greta.
Greta and her youngest sister Eileen married on the same day in 1919, presumably having waited for their men to return from WW1.
A Robert ROCHE of Wexford received a WW1 Merchant Seaman’s campaign medal.
I believe they had the following children:
Robert ROCHE died in Wexford 14 August 1952 of carcinoma of the stomach. Greta survived him. She was named in the death notice of her sister Maria in the US in 1965.
Greta died 28 July 1970 at her home in Wexford, aged 79.
