I am so glad now that my wife and I took my grandfather George Francis Davis in June 1970 back home to Cork to see for the last time both his last surviving sister. While we were there visited Walter and his wife at their home in Cork. Later that week visited Brian and his family for tea at their home. I am sorry that we didn’t keep in touch and now realise how important it is to know where your roots are.

I am envious Michael. I was first in Cork in 1980 and by then that generation were pretty much all gone.
